I'm on the sidelines about this fight. I just dont know who is going to win. They are both damaged good in my opinion. Margarito just came off of a career ending beating and that may be the difference. Cotto is going to have his hands full and if he cant back Margarito off then this maybe a replay of the first fight. Cotto must go to the body and stop this train or it's going to be very ugly.

if cheato enters the ring with "clean" gloves, that is disaster for him...this time cotto can proudly proved to the world that in a clean fight, he has the edge over the mexican cheat.
There. I fixed it for you!

As much as it hurt me to see the first fight, back when I was obsessing over Cotto, I have to admit that Margarito will win this fight.

Steward hasn't had much of an effect as of yet on Cotto's boxing in my opinion, Cotto naturally lost that fire that he had for the game after loosing both his first fight in dramatic fashion and his original trainer...also in dramatic fashion. I love cotto but I honestly feel like he's been on the decline, plus his current style just won't suit him well at all against the aggressive margarito, even though in his mind he probably prefers those kind of fighters.

Despite loosing to Pacquiao, I think Margarito looked his best in that fight considering the opponent, any other fighter in the ring with Marg at that weight on that night would of lost by knockout or clear decision without a doubt. Considering his progression, his mental/emotional stability (I'm assuming even after the defeat), and his naturally aggressive style, Marg gets the W against Cotto.

And that basically makes everything you said completely irrelevant. A guy gets his ass beat so bad he can't fight for a year and he looked his best? Finishing the last three or four rounds barely able to muster up 30 punches is the best Marg you've seen? Wow, Cotto is going to have it easy if his opponent only throws 30 punches, especially Marg.
