In the last olympics, 3 Americans played for other countries.
One of them was an African-American playing for Russia in basketball.
The other one was Michael Phelps rival that gave him hell in on of those gold medal matches.
The last was a woman, I don't remember her name, but played for Russia.
Either way, it happens all over the world so it doesn't matter. Oh and Panchito Bojado and Abner Mares, two Mexican-Americans boxed for Mexico. Berto boxed for Haiti, even though he had never been to Haiti before.
