Maidana isn't afraid of rematching Ortiz or even Morales for that matter. That man has a will of steel. He fears no man. I'll bet that he'll even fight a bear if need be, he may lose but at least he'll die trying to kill it. It's just that he has people in his ear, whom he both trust and respect and love him; Who are advising him to not to take on too many unnecessary and potential career ending risks because they are deeply concerned about his well-being and wants to keep him winning and healthy. Let's face it. he eats and absorbs far too many punches and some guys are just too brave for their own good. Maidana may be just one of those kind of guys. Sometimes a fighter must be protected from their own selves.

Khan will prove way more by beating Matthyse then he would Maidana. Khan won the fight and has dominated 2 top 10 opponents since then; Maidana lost the fight, sat on his ass, and barely beat a shot Morales. Maidana is the last one to be talking ****!!! He can eat a **** until he beats another top 10 JWW. Beat someone like Peterson or even Judah but don't talk after getting ****ed up by Morales.
