DLH punching the body is no good because he isnt a very good body puncher. Hatton should have mixed it up a little. YOu cant just go for the body because it then becomes predictable.

Many says its the body shot will beat Floyd in this fight, for me its a wrong but almost there. a Combo one in the body and then to the head with a foot step (forward step) and with caution of Floyd counter right by just weaving head away of that punch at the same time releasing exploding power punch. Manny Pacquiao used this to several opponent thats why Floyd is in Danger in Pacmans hands. If Ortiz can copy that movement he will Win. Floyd head is not easy to hit because he will lean backward then give the counter punch. A risky forward attack avoiding that counter punch is the only key to beat him. Any where you can hit him and break him down slowly.

manny aint no bodypuncher. and floyd wouldnt get hit with that becaus eh probably wouldnt be out of position to get hit with it. floyd doesnt alternate his guard high and low very often. hes just very hard to hit on the body. he resets his position after damn near every attack.

His body is just as hard to hit. That shell he puts up makes sure he is well protected all over.

Thats his only hope really, but Ortiz is one of the biggest head hunters in boxing today. I'd be shocked if he landed any meaningful body shots.

                      Ortiz is a head hunter.

I don't see him becoming some great body puncher over night.
