  • All this testing talk does one major thing for Floyd- it turns him into the hero and Pacquiao into the villian. This is significant.

As for the bit, Pacquiao "became great after 25", this is really evidence that Floyd simply doesn't understand just what Manny is. The simple fact is, Manny has been an exciting and captivating fighter since day one. Since day one! He was a huge deal in Asia, but of course (and I hate to say it) ignorant Americans (like floyd) who can't even find the Phillipinnes on a map wouldn't know who or what was turning heads in Asia.

Look at Pacquiao's first fight in the U.S.---vs Ledwaba. The dude was a champion, only one loss, tough as nails- Pacquiao took the fight on two weeks notice- Vegas wouldn't even take bets on the fight, that's how much of an underdog Pacquiao was. And what did he do? Broke the champ's nose, knocked him down, knocked him out and took his belt. That's who Manny is- since day one. And he's only became better as he's become a student of the game.

Floyd just doesn't know his history and is banking that his fans don't either. Ignorance is bliss and loves company.

Being in the gym pumpin' iron and sparrin' all day, or in Floyd's case greco/roman-wrestlin' with Ellerbe all night doesn't amount to being in actual fights on a regular basis. Fighting once a year doesn't cut it.

Yeah we'll find out in September.

      That was funny!

But being a star in Asia doesn't matter here. When Manny 1st got here and was promoted by Murad Muhammad he didn't look like he does now. I'm not saying he wasn't a champion, I'm saying he wasn't performing like he is now.

          • Arum better hope that someone outside of the USADA can test, otherwise he is to blame if things fall through. I don't want to hear anymore **** from Arum about how he agreed 100% to the tests and then later says something about bias against USADA unless he accepts another agency. Or **** about how they have to be able to train overseas if no organization outside USADA can test overseas.

As of lately, Manny agreed to everything with NO cut-offs already, if you don't believe it then it's up to you, many of us who really wants this fight to happen believes that there's no more issue in regards to OST... Floyd is just hyping it further...

He wants to get into triangle theories...

The facts are that the last 4 fighters Pac has faced have come off there worst performances in there career.

Mayweather on the other hand has fought 4 top guys coming off KO's and now Ortiz who's coming off his best win of his career. 4 Champions and now the current WBC WW Champion.

Another perspective is that none of Pac's latest opposition looked like Mosley or Ortiz in there last outing.
