All this testing talk does one major thing for Floyd- it turns him into the hero and Pacquiao into the villian. This is significant.
As for the bit, Pacquiao "became great after 25", this is really evidence that Floyd simply doesn't understand just what Manny is. The simple fact is, Manny has been an exciting and captivating fighter since day one. Since day one! He was a huge deal in Asia, but of course (and I hate to say it) ignorant Americans (like floyd) who can't even find the Phillipinnes on a map wouldn't know who or what was turning heads in Asia.
Look at Pacquiao's first fight in the U.S.---vs Ledwaba. The dude was a champion, only one loss, tough as nails- Pacquiao took the fight on two weeks notice- Vegas wouldn't even take bets on the fight, that's how much of an underdog Pacquiao was. And what did he do? Broke the champ's nose, knocked him down, knocked him out and took his belt. That's who Manny is- since day one. And he's only became better as he's become a student of the game.
Floyd just doesn't know his history and is banking that his fans don't either. Ignorance is bliss and loves company.
