It took 10 rounds of Hatton using his face to block punches for Floyd to drop him, and still he needed the help of the turnbuckle.

Hatton was exhausted by this point , frustrated and was just slowly plodding forward.

Against Pacquiao, Hatton was still fresh ready not dazed or tired and Pacquiao caught him with a punch that took Hatton out before he hit the canvas.


Pacquiao has a huge edge on Mayweather on power punching.

I think style and power are 2 different things. Take JMM for example. Floyd knocked him down with a hard left, not his best punch. He didn't get KO but showed power.

I'm not arguing he has more power than manny. I'm saying given Manny's power and what I saw in the floyd fight, we knew hatton was going sleepy.

zombie mosley stood right in front of mayweather the entire fight and floyd couldn't budge him. he was hitting him with power shots over and over and nothing happened. he tasted a little bit of pacs power and ran his ass off the entire fight. or wait i forgot mosley in his prime when he fought mayweather and completely shot when he fought pac. mayweather couldn't even ko gatti! the corner had to stop it because gatti got hit by a thousand punches and wouldn't budge. even baldomir and gomez scored brutal ko's over gatti. if he had power and was landing all those punches he would be able to ko guys. he's joe calzaghe.

I won't say Pacquiao's power is overrated because he is pushing back bigger fighters, but Mayweather's power is underrated.

TBH Manny didn't exactly fight the Prime version of those guys exception being Clottey


Margarito and Mosley were there to be KO'd and so is JMM but that wont happen
