the owners want to restructure the collective bargaining agreement...i think they want to get rid of the 7yr max contracts but the main hang up is the paycut that they want the players to take...something like a 33% cut...that's what the players are griping at

what both sides fail to understand when they look at the NFL model is, the NFL is ****ing bulletproof and is a billion dollar business that can get away with anything...including lockouts and strikes...the NBA, although very popular is nothing like the NFL...

my gameplan would be to work the body, clinch when given the chance
if margs could hurt manny with body shots and uppercuts (i know he only landed a few) then a faster more accurate puncher would have a better shot. I would not underestimate mannys size or power like everyone has since moving up. make it a dirty fight. Manny gets frustrated easy and thats when you can catch him. work the body steady for the first 4-5 rounds
