Boxing is like the bubbles of a Coke. One second you are as higher as possible and the next you are flat and undesirable. Cruel sport and fans we favor.
After knocking out Ponce DeLeon much fans talked about Juanma as the second coming of Trinidad, then He fights a B fighter than buckles his knees and He was exposed. Then He has his worse night against Salido and He's a disgrace to boxing.
Boxing today pays more than been the president, specially compared to 50 years ago when it didn't pay middle class bills. But at least then, Boxing fans did not expect boxers to become Superman above pain and loosing. We knew then that they were human, could win or loose against different opponents and still had the respect for what they could do compared to us the critics who couldn't stand 2 minutes in front of them.
Personally, I like the old days when a loss didn't kill a boxers carrier and we used to go see how they were going to handle their next fight.
Juanma was born too late to be appreciated, making his rematch with Salido A DO OR DIE. Sad sport we follow today.Comment

until Salido came to KTFO of Juanma in PR. I think u should recognize and give love to other fighters other than just puerto rican fighters bro.. If salido and juanma fight again then juanma needs to cough up some more money to the champ, then salido will take the fight and woop his ass againComment

his personal problems got the best of him...ok,did he have problems the night he fought marquez? even though he won,he got hit a lot and wobbled, same against matagwa, concepcion, etc,,i doubt he had problems then too....if they were able to hurt him and wobble him whats so weird about salido doing the same but being able to finish him?...i can understand if he was never hurt or knocked down, but he has and it doesn't surprise me that he lost,to me it nothing to do with personal problems because he has been hurt before in fights and looked vulnerable..maybe he will win the rematch but he can be beaten by someone who can punch and take punches because he doesn't have the greatest defense or stamina and it shouldn't surprise any of us if he loses againComment

What can be said about it? Its a tune up before a rematch. Im not excited for it but I dont see anything wrong with staying busy before the rematch. You ever boxed before? If so have you ever lost a fight? I can tell you from experience its much harder to prepair yourself mentally than physically for a fight coming back off a loss. again Im not gonna jump for joy or claim HE's BACK! just cus he beats this no name no power having dude, but I dont see anything wrong with taking a tune up .Comment
