Why do people say Canelo looks different than the typical Mexican?

    Uh..........no.

Canelo isn't the typical Mexican, if he was he wouldn't be called "Canelo". I have lived in Mexico for many years and while I have seen red headed people there, they aren't typical. You don't see many natural red heads or blondes in Mexico or Central America.

    It's not "typical".

The guy doesn't have the native physical characteristics of most mexicans (tan skin, prominent facial features, etc etc), not to mention he doesn't have that mexican warrior personality either.

Watch Marquez, Margarito, etc etc getting interviewed and then watch this soulless ginger and you'll notice the difference. Plus the guy is a *****

Yeah technically he's not the typical mexican just like the typical American is depicted as a white guy with blonde hair and blue eyes.

It's just that a ginger is not a freak of nature in Mexico because I've seen a lot.

he doesnt look typical mexican at all. even the more euro looking mexicans arent red heads. red head are rare in this world in all ethnicities. in fact the only ones where they show up in with any consistency is in the celts of ireland/scotland/england and some of the nordic ppls.

I live in Mexico City, and I know many blonde Mexicans, my highschool crush was a natural read head , her hair has a really deep red tone and with lots of freckels to top it off. She is pure Spanish stock (not Irish or Scottish or anything like that).

In the "Fresa" circles around Mexico City there are a lot blonde mexicans, and i have met many middle class blondes, and blondes in boxing gyms around Mexico.

And the Keyword i use here is "FRESA CIRCLES"

It depends what zones you frequent here in Mexico City, and believe me there are lots of Fresas here in Mexico City, lots of them.
