I'm Actually Excited For A Mayweather Fight

People know me as a Mayweather hater, but even though I wish he would be facing Martinez instead, Ortiz is the next best option outside of Pacquiao. The undercard is too sick to be hating anyway.

If he expects people to buy his ppv's, he's gotta give people their money's worth. Mayweather/JMM was marketed as a legitimate threat for Floyd which was obviously not.

Plus, Martinez has said many times that he'd meet Floyd at 154 which Floyd has won a title at.

          floyd isn't exciting

          vitali is more exciting

floyd is boring- yes he has skill, but he doesn't actually have any KO power at 147

          he's a 135 guy who hits at 130 power

manny is a 130 guy who hits harder than most 170 fighters

i bet manny hits harder than hopkins

What is "their money's worth"? Only Sergio or Manny? That seems like pretty high standards. Unless he fights 1 of the top 3 p4p fighters upon his return its not worth the money. Seems unreasonable.

I agree. Neither Floyd nor Pac have a reason to avoid Martinez at JMW.

Mayweather aint never gonna face martinez. Martinez aint really known. His not a welterweight either, his a middleweight. I would rather see pac go against martinez to see him get demolished

Of course he says this. Martinez is 35 and is in a division where the two biggest draws are Chavez Jr. and Canelo, 2 babies. Floyd is the only way he gets on PPV for real money. So his willingness to face floyd is understandable.

From floyds perspective why would he chase a fight against the MW champ at 154 lbs? He wnet to 154 because ODH was giving him $25 mil, he wasn't chasing the WBC JMW title. See my point?
