    This fight won't happen.

Maybe if Marquez pushes Pacquiao close and loses out to a close UD or SD then maybe.

But as long as Pacquiao is looking great the fight will not happen.
So Floyd magically knew that would result in the number of excuses from Pac to not take the blood test?

It showed someone not interested in fighting.

If you think you are the best you relish opportunities to test you skill against the best challenge.

The mindset of asking for the for the tests is a mind set of someone who know they are not the best.

Floyd knew if he took this fight and lost they gravy train will be over and could not generate the big bucks for easy fights anymore.

He know he can make big money in easy fights so why risk that for just one big pay day.

Floyd is a businessman at the risk/reward of the Pacquiao fight was not worth it.

How would describe the mindset of the one refusing to take the test? Does this apply to all fighters or just floyd? For example, would Manny asking Cotto for a catchweight be the mind set of someone who knows they are not the best?

And didn't Manny ask Shane for a test befor erecanting? Was he feeling he wasn't the best?

I'm very interested in your answers.

Manny had a bad experience giving blood before and may also be a cultural thing.

Roach wanted Cotto at catchweight because he was not willing for these big welters a big weight advantage in the ring. Cotto was happy with 145lbs.

Pacquiao never asked Shane for a test?

If by bad experience you mean He lost to Morales and used giving blood as an excuse. I'd hope even you would admit that.

It was Manny's request. if he didn't want 145 just demand it be at 147. What does it say about manny's mentality that he wouldn't demand 147 since, as your post implies, he wanted 147.

Manny did ask for a PED test and then pulled it off the table. Can't deny that and be credible.

Overall, does your post about mindsets apply only to floyd and PED testing or does it apply to other fighters and their pre fight requests?
