there was an article from espn/uk and the writer said jeff expects the fight to happen 2013 or something like that.

They bring up each others name to help promote themselves its too obvious.

I said this in December 2009, as soon as Floyd went down the blood testing road.

I could see then it was a smokescreen because Floyd didn't want the fight.

This fight won't happen.

Maybe if Marquez pushes Pacquiao close and loses out to a close UD or SD then maybe.

But as long as Pacquiao is looking great the fight will not happen.

I still believe its gonna happen. If you are floyd and you are dealing with a promoter who says Yuri Foreman at 5"10 is too tall for Manny to fight but Antonio Margarito at 5"10 isn't too tall to fight Manny, how does one rationally deal with this mentality?

that originally came from manny in a filipino tv interview.

it got kinda lost in translation and it got reported in that way by other media sources.

from what i remember he didn't say foreman was too tall at 5'10.

he said something like , "with the style he fights and him being taller , the fight could be boring."

remember , this was right after the clottey fight and that embarassingly boring fight.

it was never yuri foreman is too tall for him to beat/fight.

it was they thought with yuri's style and height they thought it could be boring.

just telling you the story.

i'm not really interested in a pacquiao-yuri foreman discussion.

most of these writers/articles just report 2nd hand stuff and it that story 1 guy ran with an article based on a misinterpretation and it got reported by a few people that way.
