He did not crush Urango he landed a beautiful punch in a back and forth fight. Stop exaggerating!

That punch crushed Urango, end of story. Ricky Hatton never landed anything like that in their fight.

Not long ago, this thread would have been about Victor Ortiz.

He's not a hype-job. People were overrating him like crazy when he beat Urango, but he's not a bum. He's a good fighter who people call a bum because he lost to 3 good fighters, and all the fights were relatively close.

But, lets not ignore that Hatton fought a pre-Bailey right hand Urango. And, Alexander fought a post-Bailey right hand Urango.

Alexander got so much hype because of one damn uppercut. That is all there is to it.

I still feel he's over hyped and rated.

But, Heeb is right. they're not bums by any means.

Mayweather or Pacquiao wouldn't stand a chance against Alexander in St. Louis...

I don't like what i see from Devon lately, but I'll give him a couple more fights.

Hes probably overrated now, and he almost certainly was massively overrated pre-bradley.

I think some people are hyping Ortiz up more so now because he is fighting Floyd... No one even made a big deal about Berto but when Ortiz beat him all of a sudden Ortiz is the next coming of jesus christ for some people...

I don't know why he's getting over hype but it's really starting to annoy me.
