Floyd will fight Pacquiao in 2013 - Jeff Mayweather

it's mind-boggling they're postponing an easy fight, easy money.
whatever happened to his fans saying pac is amateurish, he fought nothing but bums, floyd would beat him in less than nine rounds.
i don't think pac fans are actually angry this fight is not happening. the thought that their idol is being ducked by floyd is in some way enough to make them feel good. it doesn't have to happen.
point is, why are floyd fanboys not so angry about this fight still not happening? floyd is virtually denying them the chance to see him school pac in the ring. don't they want to see their fantasies become reality?

He did say that the fight would take a few years to materialize though, so at the least he's hinting that the Mayweathers aren't thinking about Pacquiao next year. It's not only Jeff saying it either...
“Well I wouldn’t think he would fight Pacquiao right after fighting Victor Ortiz. I mean it would be crazy for Floyd to go in the ring with Pacquiao after fighting Victor Ortiz!" -Roger Mayweather, June 2011

According to Mayweather Sr., although he’s confident that he has the right gameplan to secure a victory over the Filipino superstar, he’s concerned that his son may be spending too much time away from the ring and may require, not one, but possibly two tune-up fights before a fight with Pacquiao can come to fruition.
“I don’t care who it is, man. Anybody that stays out of a ring, I don’t give a damn who they is…it’s something to be concerned about, anybody being out a length of time, because boxing, man, you have to, in order to stay crisp and sharp, you gotta be sparring and stuff,” Mayweather Sr. would tell FightHype’s own Ben Thompson in an exclusive interview. “It is a deal where he might have to fight a couple of tune-ups.”
"But I am not worried about the Pacquiao thing at all. I can do whatever I want in this sport." -Floyd Mayweather Jr, July 2011
Sooner or later you people need to stop playing the 'see no evil, hear no evil' game and actually listen to what these guys are saying. They want to have nothing to do with Pacquiao and a boxing ring. Amir Khan is already penciled-in as Floyd's 1 fight for next year. Just another 'tuneup' to finally get ready for an easy one-dimensional fighter.
But this all means that Manny is ducking and Bob Arum is preventing the fight from happening somehow, right? Must be wonderful living in that fantasy world of yours

Came into this thread thinking a fan interpreted the quotes and drew their own conclusion. Turns out, it was ESPN. Wow, Smh.
Worst part is, like other sites, they didn't give FightHype credit for the content they wrote their story on.Comment

This thread and the people going along with the 2013 **** are ****ing ******ed! PBF at a international press conference for his fight with Ortiz just said with cameras and tape recorders going "Yes Manny Pacquio you are next!!"
But some of yall gonna sit here and and try to explain why people should go along with anything just said by Jeff Mayweather who himself never said 2013. Yet these people swear they are smart.
Some people here are as sharp as a bowling ball!!!!!Comment
