Think honestly, how many world class fighters has Floyd beat since Castillo???

Didn't he say he wants Zab and Winky?

It don't look like we will see these fights for a LONG time, I doubt EVER...

      and his DUCKING Margarito!!
Mayweather has beaten alot of good fighters and is the best P4P fighter in the game period.

Everyone at 147 is avoiding Margarito,

thats just the truth, the man is heavy fisted, tough, rough, In great physical condition and he probably makes everyone at 147lbs dig deep for a chance to beat him.

Thats why they wont fight him, they know margarito is going to ask questions that they may not have answers to.

From what i have read and been hearing the Money was good, He woulda made more money fighting Margarito than anyone hes fought except for maybe Gatti. Not only that but Margarito was willing to give Floyd 85% of the total purse. Obviously he just wants the chance to prove himself.

Floyd has great technique but like they said at MB.com he is turning into the next Roy Jones claiming to be the best but very little action. He hasnt done much in terms of proving himself since his fight against castillo and that was like 2 years ago or more.

          mnash...

boxing is not all about how much talent you got, p4p mayweather is better, but if mayweather fights tony at 147 he would get killed!

Tony is like twice his size....

Come on man... Margarito is good but he isnt near great. Very crude, now footmovement, speed is average, good punch. That means he gets outworked by Mayweather.

you can always find exceptions... maybe mayweather doesnt want to fight him. if he fought castillo twice what makes you think he doesnt want to fight margarito?

people compare castillo to margarito. not fair to castillo as he can box pretty good as we saw saturday night. hate to see margarito try to win a fight by boxing against someone talented.

I like Floyd and I want to believe that Floyd will fight anybody but why he chooses to steer away from a fight with Margarito is beyond me. It's sooo Floyd to say a blasting comment or two (or more... remember the things he said about Gatti?) about fighters that can possibly have a fight with him. Strangely, PBF's been a bit quiet at Margarito. Neway, I guess Floyd's management is also aware that Margarito's style presents a lot of problems with Floyd. IT DOES. And styles do make fights. Though PBF has fought better and more poipular opponents, It doesnt mean PBF will win every round against Margarito.

                  3 types of fighters:
                  1) boxer
                  2) slugger
                  3) swarmer

The slick boxer will beat the slugger more often than the other way around. But the classic solution to the slick pugilist ones are the swarmer types. Rocky was a swarmer. He beat a slick Jersey Joe Walcott. Castillo is a late round swarmer and he beat a slick Casamayor and got close at beating Floyd. Hatton is a swarmer...

I believe PBF's management is the one maneuvering Floyd out of a possible collision course with Margarito.

Mayweather is not normal right now...maybe he will be more beatable when he gets in his 30's. I mean don't get me wrong he isn't invincible, but right now 98% of these fighters almost have no chance.
