That doesn't seem very fair in my opinion.

The American boxing fans are the only ones coming out of their own pocket to support the sport. Basically we are subsidizing it for a lot of these other countries around the world.

Wrong. They pay for Skysports/ESPN thus getting anything that comes with it. It's like us paying for HBO for boxing. They have to get up late to see it aswell.

Well, PPVs in America have massive economical success, that's why they keep happening. For many other countries it is considered outrageous to make someone pay to watch just ONE event.

        StarPower is NOT free.

        It's 15 GBP...or $25 USD

I believe they are popular in Denmark for Kessler's fights.

I realize that, but before this whole Primetime thing they were getting the fights free (as long as they had Sky.)

And Star Power is costing us how much in America? It ain't no $25 that's for sure. Even for those that have HBO.

Well, market pricing is appropriate. You price things based on their demand or perceived value.

They pay for Khan. The US gets Khan for free.

Yeah but how much do boxers give back to the UK? How often do those fighters in the US visit the UK or go on UK shows etc?

They need a Mayweather fight to put them to sleep fast and a Pacquiao fight to wake them up.
