Dude the only reason Floyd goes on extended vacations is because he makes a **** load of money everytime he fights, and doesn't have to risk his health as much as other fighters do.

Fight two times, get paid, and go on another 2 yr vacation.
Anybody that thinks Floyd is fighting 10 more times is crazy.

He will fight Ortiz in september, then fight Pacquiao in May 2012, and then go on another long vacation.

Sorry Khan but you won't get the Mayweather fight until maybe 2013-2014

Agreed. I am a fan of both fighters, but in floyds absence pacman was able to achieve what he did and get to where he is because of this. Not taking anything away from pac,but his last real fight and test was against marquez...the rest of his fights are tailored made to make him look good.

well Floyd time is running out, he needs to fight as much as he can, cause he will go bankrupt 2 years after retiring with all the ******** addiction, he has no Ged what will he do after boxing? Floyd needs boxing. Dont tell me promoting, cause i wouldnt want to fight under his promotion, i rather be under Golden Boy.

Floyd's BOYFRIEND is half right. Floyd's comeback was against Juan Manuel Marquez....which had everything to do with Pacquiao!! So it's obvious that Floyd's rise in popularity was because of Manny. Remember when Floyd fought Hatton, the PPV buys were less than 900K.

Floyd Mayweather Sr.: "He (Floyd Jr.) thanks everyone but his daddy. He thanks Leonard Ellerbe, a ****sexual, I know he's a ****sexual and everyone else knows it. You can print that because I said it, I can tell you nothing else but how gay he is."

Floyd choosing not to do the Oscar rematch was huge for Manny. And given the circumstances, Manny made good on it.

Cotto was a real fight, and his best win over the past few years.
