I agree the man never lost his hunger, determination, or heart, thats is why he sustained such a bad beating, and kept fighting after that.

I remember seeing after taylor got kod in the chavez rematch both guys past their peaks obviously but Taylor already showing mental problems. He contemplated retirement when the commentator asked him. Don King immidiately jumped in and brain washed poor Meldrick whos mind wasnt right, he was like.. "Dont listen to them!!! You got Plenty of fights Your gonna be champ of the world again, Im gonna get u this and that". Really made me angry and sad.
