How will Mexicans take to Donaire

As it looks like right now 2 of the top 3 P4P in the world are Filipino. When Pacquiao was coming up he was beating alot of Mexicans at the lower weight classes however it seemed like Mexicans warmed up to him and he developed a Mexican fanbase because of his style.

Donaire looks poised to go through the same path. His style however is different, it's more of a pure slick boxer style and not the brawling type of style that Mexican fans generally favor. Do you think he will get the same love from Mexican fans fighting the way he fights? Because honestly right now he doesn't seem to get the same type of love from some of the Filipino fans I know. They say he's not exciting doesn't have power like Pacquiao. I'm thinking in my head do these people actually know boxing? They seem to think that if a person doesn't throw 300 punches a round he's not exciting.

Any hardcore boxing enthusiast, no matter what race, will love Donaire's style. He's slick, he's got power, he's not afraid to mix it up and he's willing to fight the best in whatever division he's in...

Donaire is more of an American than he is a Filipino...and if anyone doesn't like Donaire's style, they just don't like boxing.

Honestly when it's a Pac fight...my house is packed with Filipino friends...When I tell them Nonito is fighting I get like 3 people over my house Lolz..I just don't think they will warm to his style..Is it because they don't understand it? They actually see to see him as a threat to Pacquiao. I understand it. I would LOVE to have my ethnicity represent 2 of the 3 top p4p in the world.

Just like how Pacquiao was sleeping on bales of hay eating a bowl of rice a day and had no amateur experience...even though he had a 60-4 amateur record while his room and board was paid for by the national amateur team.
