Agree with both of you. IBF officials should've gone into the ring and confiscated the belt from Mares right away and held the title up until the rematch.

At best this was sheer incompetance by Mora, yet you don't get to this level being an idiot. SO whats left is corruption or sheer racism. Either way Mora can't possibly be allowed to ref again.

Looks like IBF already has made up their mind. I have a feeling they gonna side with OscarWhiteBoyHoya. Since he brings in more money, but we will see how much Don King is willing to spend bribing the commision for a midget like Agbeko.

I dont think they will ever rule it a NC but they might order Immediate Rematch which GoldenBalls will duck and pay money to Don King to sidetrack Agbeko's career.

Abner, is this your handle here?

                PER GABE MONTOYA:

After the fight, Golden Boy Promotions (who promotes Mares) matchmaker Eric Gomez tweeted,“I love Russell Mora.”
He later deleted the comment but not after it became a top tweet through a multitude of retweets. Not saying there was chicanery here but why delete it? Why not stand by your words?

It should also be noted that Don King, who promotes Agbeko, made a request to Nevada State Athletic Commission Director Keith Kizer to not use Mora as he was thought to be unsuitable. Kizer declined the request citing no grounds for the complaint.

By making TWO BAD knockdown calls against Agbeko and not taking a single point from Mares for repeated low blows, Mora literally took the fight from the rightful winner (Agbeko) and gave it to Mares. That fight should be declared a NC, the belt returned to Agbeko, and a rematch ordered.

Or if it had been properly officiated, Agbeko should have won by a close decision.

Agbeko looked like he slipped at the first knockdown, and the second was right on the ***els. This fight was just disgusting...
