If Rahman bumn rushes vitali and keeps effective pressure up he has a great chance.

His punch against Lewis wasnt lucky. It was a valid win and 2 different Rahmans were there for the first one and the second one. In the first one he came out like he had something to proved he pressured lewis out of his plan an Lewis left himself open going back.

In the rematch Rahman came out like he had nothing to prove anymore and literally just stood there and lewis of course not being dumb dropped him.

Vitali backs straight up and puts both hands out in front of him when pressured correctly (sandes vs vitali). If that happens against Rahman Vitali is in serious trouble.

To be honest I'm hoping he takes Rahman out in record time so I can big up Williams via triangular logic.
if rahman doesnt get up more then 5times from knock downs, id question his heart, big up to danny in fightin big V

The thing I like most about Vitali is when he steps back to make his opponents miss. He looks so big and lumbering and deceptively slow, you can't imagine they would (particularly as going backwards is harder to do that go forwards). Yet they do, every time. In fact, the only time V seems to get near to getting unstuck is when he comes forward. (Hmmmmmm... maybe that last sentence might be prophetic...)

Perhaps Rahman is a better boxer than Sanders, but he doesn't have his punch or his chin. The fact is, Sanders is respected inside boxing circles by people who have seen him fight and train. He is one of boxing's most feared punchers in the last few years, for both the quickness of his straight left, and for the weight he puts into it.

I used to talk to a boxer, Mike Middleton, who sparred with many of the top guys and fought Audley Harrison and Dokiwari. He told me that Sanders hit every bit as hard as David Tua, except he was also the quickest heavyweight he had ever been in there with. He also runs the 100 yard dash in 10 seconds, and can hit a golfball 300 yards. He's a natural athlete, regardless of his bodytype.

The truth is the average fan doesn't know Sanders, and only sees his fat gut and his age. They thought he was an old stiff when in fact very few world class heavyweights were ever lining up to fight him. He is not a household name like David Tua or Lennox Lewis but is incredibly dangerous to even a skilled boxer because of his unusual handspeed, fight ending power, and southpaw stance. The worst kind of guy to fight. He looks like ****, nobody knows about him, but that doesn't mean he can't knock your head clean off.

So I maintain that Rahman, despite possessing a more formidable arsenal of boxing skills, will offer much less than Sanders did against Vitali. He won't hurt him like Corrie did, and he sure as well won't be as competitive late in the right. The truth is that Rahman doesn't have half the talent of Sanders.

I dont agree. vit is a good counter puncher and he could catch the rock coming in. it would be smarter for the rock to try to take it into the later rounds where vit could tire or eventually cut

i'm with you on this, but with some other perspectives too.
Rock should come out and take it to him, no one has brought the fight to Klitchko, not even Lewis. Lewis let Klitchko lead. also if Klitchko weathers a storm from Rock, then Rahman should use that poll jab and throw it like 50 time plus per round.
I want Rahman to win, i'm not big on the Klitchko's, but Vitali is a better boxer, has faster hands, throws better combos, and is more active. plus he is always the aggressor in his fights. Rahman gets lazy in the ring and becomes inactive in important rounds, if he's ahead at the beginning, he'll slow down and let the other guy steal the middle rounds and get some points and some damge in on him too. a poor work ethic has kept Rahman from being world champ for longer than just a day. he could do it if he comes in to scrap and make it a rough fight. he should bring some street mentality into the fight and make it nasty. that would give him a big advantage, if he chose to use it.....

VK probably expects Rahman to come out bombing. If Rahman is smart he will use his reach to get inside and then chop up Klitchko's body. Like what was said before...Rahman has more of a chance than ppl give him. This is a fight against lungs...for both fighters.
