Hasim has about as much of a chance as Williams, which is a respectable one going into the fight but pretty much nil once he feels the hard leather Vitali will be slinging his way.

Rahman just doesn't have the chin to survive against a taller, stronger man with a stiff jab. He is going to get hurt, and hurt bad.

Vitali Klitschko by stoppage in round six.
Rahmans chance is to open a cut

Klitschko in TKO8. hoping the odds get down to 4-1

Rahman's only chance is too jab ALL night long. He has the best jab in the heavie division, but its going to very hard to land it against a guy 5.5 inches taller. Only thing in Rockman's favour is Klit is easy to hit, he uses little to no head movement.

Rahman's best chance is to come out like he did agaisnt Tua in the 1st 6 rounds of their rematch, and to throw 50 -60 jabs a round.

He has a bit of reach on Vitlai, and a good jab when he uses it.

If he starts with the jab and uses it will, good things would follow.

If he doens't use the jab, he gets picked apart very fast.

Rahman is a sub par fighter, who's slow, plodding, and hasn't looked good in a fight in years.

The last time he was in a fight of this magnitude, he was easilly outpointed by John Ruiz.

He doesn't stand much of a chance.

They should have absolved Vitali of having to make this mandatory after the preformance Rahman put in agaisnt Barrett. That was like watching paint dry.

Honestly just out of curiosity, who do you guys think rahman actually could beat??

brewster-no byrd- no toney- no sam peter - no ruiz - no

i also think hed lose to brock, and possibly johnson, williams or even mccline. hell i think audley harrison could otbox him as boring as it would be.

that puts him well outside of being top 5 heavy in my book, and makes him a bogus challenge for vitali at this point. id rather see him fighting anybody else on november 13th

You pretty much hit the nail on the head.

Rahman only got his current ranking by going on a win streak against the likes of Al Cole, Mario Crawley, Terence Lewis, Kali Meehan and Barrett. And in that stretch, he struggled with Al Cole and Barrett.

Here's to hoping that after Vitali beats him (as he should) that he moves on to titles unification fights and stays active.

No, I cant agree with that. I think that although Rachman doesnt have the power that Sanders did, he is a better boxer. That will be his saving grace, I thinkg.

I wonder how long it will take Vitali to go into second gear? I'm expecting a slow (1-2 rounds) start because of ring rust and injuries before he goes into it. Though as soon as he doesn't see a threat he goes into gear.

To be honest I'm hoping he takes Rahman out in record time so I can big up Williams via triangular logic.

this fight may be a little more exciting than it should be because of the ring rust - Vitali's, like everyone else here says Rahman needs to outwork VK in the early rounds, most important he needs to land a big right hand in every round, to show Vitali he can hit him and to set up something big in the late rounds. However, Rahman tends to load up his shots and throw basically one punch at a time, he doesn't have the work rate to take it to Vitali. i'd like to see an aggressive combnination throwing Rahman in there, but i don't think it's gonna happen

You should edit what you typed and put this in:

Come in the ring with a baseball bat, hide it in your robe, wait for Vitali to come in, then run over and hit him across the face with it repeatedly.

That's basically what Vitali is going to do to him.
