Who rated him highly? I never saw topics of him beating Ali, SRR, SRL, Duran, etc or comparing him to the greats of the past. He was being rated as a rising star who was on the verge of getting the big fights but fucked up and killed himself. He supposedly did very well in sparring against DLH and Pacquiao? Correct me if i'm wrong. He was also undefeated 27-0 with 27 KO's, was not a fan of him but I didn't see any reason to not be excited for his career and now ponder on how he would have done against the top guys of today. No need to claim every fighter is overrated.

      GOAT

      I know. Simply incredible.

Think of all the fighters that had decisions against bums.

      Valero never did.

But this topic has been done to death.

We just need to say we'll never know and move on.

People often get carried away with "what could have been" fighters.

everyone is overrated, Tyson, Ali,Jack Johnson, Dempsey, The Klitschkos, Pacquiao, Mayweather, Chavez, Greb, ODLH, Holmes, Foreman, Marciano
people even say Robinson was overrated...

My point is.... someone always thinks someone else is overrated.

I happen to agree, I've seen his fights and I don't see him as the super powerful indestructible force some people make him out to be.

IMO JMM would've taught him a lesson

.......have you ever seen Valero actually fight?

in 2 rounds? they're really not even in the same class lol

and your piss drinker comment leads me to believe you're biased.

Well had he been given medical clearances to fight in the U.S he would've have fought better oppenents, him not be able to fight in the U.S hurt his resume.
