thats some of the same shidt I said, although, I think things should be taken a bit further in dealing with russell mora....... i think he should be banned from being a ref, there is no excuse for his performance, seriously, to say he should be a football field away from any important fight is wrong, he should be kept away from the whole sport because when careers and lives are on the line in this sport, they're all important fights, no matter what........

mora's body of work if it is clean? it just got septic tank dirty tonight......


i just can't believe the blatant misses in his calls, it had to be on purpose, i've watched the fight 3 x's now and watched mora closely, there aren't many times where his view is obstructed........ it's too damn obvious or he's that damn inept...... i can not buy the latter, it's too easy of an excuse and I think covers somebody else's butt.

Mora should be suspended and never allowed to ref again, he has, and can hurt too many careers...his past 2 fights have not come w/out errors, misjudgements and blown calls... Nevada commish needs to step up....I had the same score of 115-111, but w/low blows counted and penalized Agbeko would have been winner by DISQ...one LAST thing, Cynthia Ross was pretty far off too, the fight was no way a draw , Mares did win.

honestly, if that fight happens in my country, i had mora shot in the head myself...

the ref was insane and blind...he is a shame to boxing...he should be banned...

Mora took a payoof the fight was fixed. Mora should be investigated banned then shot.

If russell mora was the referee for the tyson- holyfield ear fight he would have let Tyson bite off both of Holyfield's ears and his nose and looked the other way.

I didn't even bother to score or consider how many rounds both fighters won. Low blows takes away a lot from a fighter. The cleanest and most damaging shot i saw was Agbeko's in the fourth which buckled Mares' knees. I wonder how many more Agbeko would have made again if he was not weakened by low blows. The fight would have been very different

To the author of this article: All of the extra jibber jabber and going over the hill and around the mountain with words just to complete a sentence makes not for a pleasant reading experience. The referee was terrible and I am still not sure if it was more of a shame to hear Abner Mares defending the ref or to hear the referee actually defending himself.
