I'm pretty sure WBC is going to do everything it can to stop an immediate rematch. They gotta protect their Mexican champions from real competitions.

it seems that the bantamweight tourney was designed increase thevalue of Mares' stock... he got away with the same thing vs Darchinyan... repeated low blows... and if u watch the mares darchinyan video u will be convinced that Mares had the "INTENT" to go low... it was part of his game plan... it actually is a great strategy... As I've been saying before this tournament is a boxing scam the reason why Donaire, Montiel and Moreno did not partcipate.
