if peterson was with golden boy he would have dq'd rios for holding his head down. unfortunately this terrible reffing will get him more jobs now that he's put up a giant "i will fix the fight for the highest bidder" sign on his face.

I don't know what's worse, Joe Cortez in the Humberto Soto-Francisco Lorenzo fight or this. Right now I'm inclined to say this because this decision won't be overturned.

Did agbeko not cut abner mares with his head? did he not hit behind the head?
Rios is a clean fighter, but agbeko comes in with his head.
That's my opinion I have the right.

How many unintentional low blows can you throw? Do you think if Mora would have taken points out and being in the edge of a DQ that Mares would have still thrown those "unintentional" low blows?

What does Rios being a clean fighter have anything to do with any of this?
A clash of heads happened and Abner got cut. So your point is???

Originally posted by Check View PostThey were unintentional low blows. Had Mora taken a point away, yes they would of stopped but only because Mares would of stopped throwing any body shots. Mares can not throw the body shot without it looping down on the belt line, at least against Joe. They were unintentional though.
