They were unintentional low blows. Had Mora taken a point away, yes they would of stopped but only because Mares would of stopped throwing any body shots. Mares can not throw the body shot without it looping down on the belt line, at least against Joe. They were unintentional though.

Add in the mix that Agbeko likes to have a crouch type stance, like Vic and he likes to hold the opponent down it isn't a good formula. A lot of Mares punches were on the belt line, not low blows. Yeah, a few major shots were on the cup but they came from the style and the way Mares throws. I don't think he threw a single intentional shot on the nuts.

You're an idiot with all due respect. A professional fighter doesn't land 30 low blows borderline or not and all of them being accidental. He got away with so many he kept going there its that simple, he took advantage.

I remember this ref taking away points from Katsidis in the Guerrero for low blows when some of them were fairly on the belt line and not calling a knockdown when Guerrero hand touch the canvas.

Didnt matter though cos Guerrero was really winning the fight but would had been controvesial if the fight were close.
