My point is that when both fighters are taking part in their rough house tactics, a ref has to be more forgiving since both are doing it.

Rios did not take revenge against peter son so a ref has to take that into consideration.

peterson was down, he was bleeding, he was loosing the fight his were intentional out of desperation.

abner mares always goes to the body, and the belt line is legal. If any low blows did land most went under the right leg since he was reaching for the liver shots.

What does Rios being a clean fighter have anything to do with any of this?

A clash of heads happened and Abner got cut. So your point is???

You're dumb for saying they were on accident, but if they were Mares is a terrible fighter. If you're accuracy is that bad you have to be given victories just like this one and Vic before it.

No the ref does not have to take that into consideration.

And, even if the low blow is being landed on the right(some right on the ****ing cup) doesn't take away the fact that it was and illegal blow that should have had one or two points taken away or even been a DQ. That what a good ref does.

Well here is your boxing lesson 101 of the day, referees do take that into consideration.

Not at all. Mares accuracy isn't great, he's a wild puncher and low blow/belt punches have been a problem. Add in the mix that Agbeko likes to have a crouch type stance, like Vic and he likes to hold the opponent down it isn't a good formula. A lot of Mares punches were on the belt line, not low blows. Yeah, a few major shots were on the cup but they came from the style and the way Mares throws. I don't think he threw a single intentional shot on the nuts.

You're an idiot with all due respect. A professional fighter doesn't land 30 low blows borderline or not and all of them being accidental. He got away with so many he kept going there its that simple, he took advantage.

I remember this ref taking away points from Katsidis in the Guerrero for low blows when some of them were fairly on the belt line and not calling a knockdown when Guerrero hand touch the canvas.

Didnt matter though cos Guerrero was really winning the fight but would had been controvesial if the fight were close.

Seem like he favours his kind..
