I saw the punch and it landed right on Zab's belt line. From a certain angle it looked low from the way Khan threw it but it was on the line. Zab just looked like he was getting beat up effortlessly by Amir.

None of you guys write as if you've seen the photo of the punch at point of impact. Well I have, and believe me, the punch was LOW. The knuckle was just below the bottom of the wide waistline of the boxing trunks and we KNOW from the ref's instructions that the danger line was the TOP of the belt line.

So the punch WAS low. However with the lower body padding there is, it was not low enough to incapacitate, and Judah likely need not have gone down. However he gling for. many fighters could continue after low blows but try to coax a DQ or 5 min rest out of it. Sometimes they slip up, like Judah did here.

Another PRIME example is when Cintron tripped and fell out of the ring against Williams. He wanted to get that 5 minutes rest, but the ref misunderstood and counted him out. Which was a pity as Cintron was winning the fight.

the punch was low and the force lifted up the cup. any fighter including khan can tell you what that does and how it feels. it was a legit low blow but the ref thought it was a legit body shot. its boxing so lets move forward.he's not a quitter and khan get the win.

low punches or not, Judah looked plain awful -- best he can hope for now is a 'gatekeeper' role

He is where Cintron is at now, just an ESPN level fighter if he wants to continue fighting.
