Winky was very very solid. Unfortunately, according to some people it's "to early" to give him his just due on defense. Give it 20 years or so and he will be defensively mentioned with Mayweather and Whitaker.

Also, keep in mind, a lot of fighters ducked Winky (i.e ODLH). Had they not ducked him who knows what he could've accomplished. Thank God for the Shane Mosley mentality because if Shane didn't give Winky a shot, you would've never seen Winky vs Tito, Taylor, Hopkins, ect...
What are you talking about? Winky won't be mentioned with Floyd or Whitaker in the defense category. Ever.

Because it's not all "flash"? He was just as effective and all the while coming forward. Anyhow, upload just finished.

The papilion fight was damn near directly after he inced his new deal. Was nice to see him sit down on the shots for a change and try to get rid of his man.

Winky's best performance was against Tito. Easily.

        He made Tito look FOOLISH.

Winky wrecked Tito, and did it with just a jab mostly
blocked all his punches, took what few landed easily
walked him down, jabbed him to hell, every single rd
landed lefts whenever he felt like it
by the end he was scoring right hooks easily on Tito too
Tito Sr says before the last rd, "do what you can, don't get hurt"
