At the Ameristar Casino in Saint Charles, Missouri, lightweight prospect Dannie Williams (19-1, 15KOs) knocked out Antonio Cervantes (16-6) in the fourth round. Cervantes went down in the first, but Williams landed a huge right hand that sent him down on his back in the fourth. He was out and referee Steve Smoger waved it off. [Click Here To Read More]

Can't believe Arum wanted Cintron to fight Pac!!! Starting to believe Arum is what's wrong with boxing. No really, IMO Arum needs to retire.

scoring was way too one-sided for Cintron -- I had him winning by 1 point -- in any event, Cintron didn't show enough to be considered relevant -- if that's the best he can do, he's got nowhere to go

How did Rosie Perez say it, "Sometimes when you win you actually lose"? Seems true enough to me after watching Cintron's fight tonight and that stinker a few months ago. Dude is dead man walking and needs to call this thing a day and become a real estate agent or something. God I hope Bob doesn't get too cute and put Angulo back in front of him or even Cotto. This dude has faded faster than Jeff Lacy's sorry ass and that's not an easy thing to do.

Well I thought he lost, but maybe should keep going but he won't be a relevant world class fighter again.

cintron was fighting like a wimp.
he was fighting like he had an injured right hand.

Smith sounded like Devon Alexander who was there with those grunts he made through out the fight.

My complaint is all of these people saying x should retire when there are plenty of guys far worse who keep fighting.

If it's someone who got knocked out 4x in his last ten fights (ala Roy) then I could almost see the point.

But people do it for anyone with one or two losses recently.

That is one of my pet peeves.
