Don't waste your time man. For real.

Floyd actually helped put boxing back on the map with the ODH fight. Yes he was the b-side. But for those who purchase taapes and 45's we know the b-side helps sales. The fight wasn't great but for that one night over 2 mil people paid to watch boxing.

Manny has done nothing like this and unless he fights floyd never will. Hate on floyd. Call him whatever. But give him his respect since you are a real fan.
floyd wasn't even in the world map before the dlh fight. aks cung le. i think cung le, the poster, is ukrainian. pacman is more popular in his country. and they didn't even know who pbf is.

dlh was the popular one and the world was rooting for him, not pbf (p stands for pu55y, btw). they were disappointed by the result, obviously. they were doubly disappointed when pbf turned down the rematch against dlh. from then on those dlh fans followed floyd around and wanted to see his fights for the sole purpose of seeing him lose. come on, man, when the number of fans in the audience who want to see you lose outnumbers your own fans, that's not exactly popularity. that's notoriety.

I doubt Teddy Atlas has a reason to lie.

Teddy wasn't lying, he was relaying false information. And later Teddy admitted he wasn't sure it was true. Anyone can spoof an email address or use a temp one.

I acknowledged floyd was the bside in my post. And whether people buy to see him lose or buy to see him win, they buy. I mean please just be adult about this. Its just about revenue generated, no more no less.

Floyd is like the Dallas Cowboys, NY Yankees, DUke hoops, Notre Dame football, the LA Lakers. Manny is like the Green Bay packers, Steelers, Red Sox. Manny and those teams are successful and have diehard fans who support them to the end. Thats great. And profitable.

Floyd and those other teams have the same diehard fans, but have the HATERS who want to see them lose so ****ing bad that they watch every chance they can in hopes of seeing a loss.

I don't need to tell you which group the advertisers and TV people like more?

Look at it this way, when a steeler fan buys one hat and one jersey to support his team, then buys 5 cowboy jerseys to burn, who makes more money, The Rooney family or Jerry Jones?

              Holla back.

                  He agreed. PERIOD....

Ortiz didn't have a problem with it. Mosley didn't have a problem with it. Where's the problem?

its possible that he wasn't lying about the e-mails. its very likely that a source he trusted told him and he repeated it without confirming the existence of such e-mail. most likely Atlas simply made a mistake of going with a story without checking to see if it was actually true.

the sad reality for Atlas though is that until today, NO SUCH EMAIL HAS BEEN SHOWN.

you would think that in an age where thousands upon thousands of pages of highly classified information can be easily stolen from the most powerful country in the planet, it would be child's play to obtain a single e-mail from a mere boxer from a third-world country.

And over 50 guys didn't have a problem fighting Pac without tests. That works both ways.
