Blood test were an 11th hour stip when everything else was agreed. Floyd got cold feet and needed a way out.
that's what i recall in the first round. but the one thing that sticks out the most for me was when arum was looking for a venue. he found dallas cowboys stadium and was so upbeat about sharing his enthusiasm with team mayweather by offering them a tour in the company of the owner, jerry jones. of course, team mayweather canceled without giving a reason. it began to be apparent to arum and the whole boxing community that the whole ******** thing was a mere ploy, probably a prank, to woo the pacman thinking that he wasn't ready at the time. it was not the picture of a man (mayweather) who wanted the fight but a man trying to get out of it.
floyd agreed to 50/50 before his only issue was pac taking the test, the new thing is this usada/wada thing and thats coming from arum, which was never an issue in any of the first negotiations and now hes creating another stumblingblock saying they dont want pac to train in his home town when the boxer floyd himself never said anything like that, so whos most likeley going to be the reason the negotiations dont run smooth????????
seems like u guys want floyd to throw something else in there so that you can laugh and scoff, but nobody gets on arum!
i'm not stopping you from believing what you want to believe when it comes to floyd...i know you're a big fan of him. but me, i want to maintain a wait and see attitude when it comes to floyd and pac. no negotiation is going to be smooth for these guys...not even a truckload of money will stop them from being a diva.
and who cares about arum? the guy is a businessman and a sneaky one at that. is he going to try to make money as much as he can? of course, and if he needs to use dirty schemes to have it he will do it...that should be expected from a guy like arum. but i don't believe the ***** bull**** that arum is trying to stop the fight because he hates floyd. it's all about the money for him.
I wont. But Dan Rafael who wrote this article has acknowledged a close, personal, over 20 year friendship with Bob goodman of top rank. While that doesn't make him corrupt, that does raise questions. Is that something we can agree on?

I think it was more xylocaine and homefield advantage.
If Manny's full camp is in the Philippine, then he's suspect because he normally trains half and half, and i remember Freddy stating back then, when he felt Manny was being distracted in the Philippines, that for a Mayweather fight he would like to have Manny's full camp at the Wildcard gym.
Pacquiao trains in the Philippines for tax reasons, he not going to have a full camp at the Wild card for this of all fights.
He will train the last 2 weeks at the Wild Card as he always does.
But Floyd does not want the fight, that and that alone is the reason why this fight has not happened.
But its the truth thought so don't try to act like u don't see it. Ost was never in floyds vocabulary until sr starts talking about it and then all of a sudden ost became very serious for Floyd. So yes sr do have some influence in what Floyd does.
Could that have something to do with boxers not acting like manny? I mean it looks su****ious... plain and simple you can call floyd a coward, but the truth is Floyd didnt know manny would make up many excuses....
PLUS OTHER BOXERS SHARED THE SAME OPINION, DONT FORGET THE INFAMOUS EMAIL, I DONT SEE MANNY TRYING TO SUE TIM SMITH NOW DO YOU? WHAT ABOUT TEDDY ATLAS?
You are simply reaching if you are going that route...
If Floyd new that then the fight is over because floyd predicting the future will see how to beat manny lol....
since when did sr have the power to make demands like this writer is attempting to make sr sound like he does? This would be qlike pacs father saying floyd can't train in the usa. Neither fathers have any say what so ever.
Floyd jr hasn't said shyt about where pac fights yet this writer is attempting to make it sound like jr did.. Lol we all know the figt wasn't made because pac wasnt ready to test. Not because floyd sr making comments about where pac trains.
At least pac now finally agrees to test...... There are no excuses
lol this writer is a f*king ****** a$$.
exactly great post!!!!! Its like they are hoping floyd says it
As to the article, the best thing to do is email Dan Rafael. When I wanted to know about the Jones vs Ruiz fight, I called the Square Ring Inc. and got answers from the source. I even bet that Jones would go through with the fight based on what I heard and a guy who said Jones would not sign, had to give up posting on AOL because of the bet I won.
That is the only reason I approach ESPN articles with caution. I believe dan is a credible journalist. But I also believe he, just like me or anyone else, would take the word of his long time friend without hesitation.

For unspecified reasons, Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, is out of the running to host the Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather super fight, Top Rank's Bob Arum told ESPN.com on Wednesday.
