Khan would not take that shot, but if he did he might not even go down.

Maidana put Ortiz down and made him quit, Maidana hit Khan with a monster shot in round 10, Khan was hurt but used his survial skills to get through the round.


Khan stops Berto in 9 or 10 for me. Probably winning every round.

He should try to make the fight with Peterson again, while waiting for the winner of Morales-Matthysse. It's a fight he should win, another good name at 140, and a chance to upstage one of Bradley's better wins. Screw Maidana, he fought and beat him. Maidana has done nothing to earn that rematch since.

And he will beat the crap out of Berto if he fights him at 147. Bank on it.

I think a fighter as explosive as Berto gives Khan a problem, because of his ability to land fast, powerful single shots, but I just don't think that will get it done against Khan anymore, Berto is a big puncher, but at elite level has not proved himself to be a 1-punch ko artist.

All of that considered you have to favour Khan, he is much more consistent, and at this stage there confidence is probably at different ends of the spectrum, khan is at the top of his game, and Berto needs to rebuild after his loss.

Khan-Berto will be Khan-Judah all over again. Berto has horrible, horrible ring generalship. He gets frustrated very quick and I can see Amir frustrating the living hell out of Berto with his jab and movement.

Berto, just like Judah, only has a puncher's chance.

Yeah I could see a UD for Khan in that fight. Although Berto lost to Ortiz I still think he's a good fighter, but he'll lose to Khan.

won't do anything for his development, but he should just fight and beat Prescott. Then have a fight with one more decent opponent at 140, then go up and fight Berto. I didn't really like this guy before, i've met him and he's a really nice guy, but i always thought he was overated and fights like a douche bag, but i gotta admit, he was impressive against Judah. But i still don't think he'll ever posses enough skill to challenge Gayweather.
