  • Amir wants the winner of Morales-Matthysse and move up to 147 and fight Berto

He just said this on On The Ropes Boxing Radio.

He said there is nothing to gain for him by fighting Maidana again. He already beat him. He wants that WBC belt Morales and Matthysse are fighting for. He also mentioned Peterson but he doesn´t think Peterson wants to fight him. Peterson already turned a Khan fight down once.

He also said that he would like to fight Berto after his fight in December.

    WAR KHAN !!

And oh yeah... Amir also mentioned 'No Storm'. He said that if Bradley loses his '0', he has no motivation to fight him anymore. Amir wants to be the one to take his '0'.

Why not Guerrero? I think Maidana is about to lose to him, that would be a good fight. I also would't mind the Peterson fight. Peterson turned the fight down the first time but that rematch for the exact same money when you're the champ thing was bogus IMO. Either way there should be exciting upcoming fights for Khan.

That’s a well thought out path to Mayweather.

Selfishly i’d love to see him fight Morales, he, like Manny, would then have both Morales and Barerra under his belt (if he beat Morales of course)

        Speculation in boxing....love it haha

Berto is a perfect debt at 147, and i can’t see Khan having any problems with him, he’d beat him tomorrow at 147, Berto is a fringe level boxer, just a stepping stone to bigger and better things.

I’ll be watching every step, Amir, cheering you on.

I think if Guerrero manages to beat Maidana, Guerrero will be on the short list as well.

Amir's fight in December is gonna be epic, no matter what. I hope it's the winner of Morales-Matthysse. Amir will then become the WBC, WBA and IBF Light Welterweight champion.

How do you think a fight with Khan and Berto plays out? Do you think Amir would be able to stand up to the same shot that floored Ortiz?

That's the mentally of a younger Oscar. I can appreciate that. It's very rare in the sport now when an imerging superstar is willing to fight everyone & unify an entire division. That's straight gangsta.

Khan-Berto will be Khan-Judah all over again. Berto has horrible, horrible ring generalship. He gets frustrated very quick and I can see Amir frustrating the living hell out of Berto with his jab and movement.

Berto, just like Judah, only has a puncher's chance.

Amir wont get hit as much as ortiz did. Khan is learning and getting better day by day. I see khan beating Berto by UD
