Three fights to convert a non-boxing fan...

If you had to convert a non-boxing fan into a boxing fan, which three fights would you show him/her in order to get this person excited and understand why boxing is so dramatic and thrilling.

Here's the catch, you have to name one fight each in the following categories:

    1. Back and forth affair that ends in a close decision.

    2. Back and forth affair that ends in a dramatic KO.

    3. Back and forth affair with a dramatic comeback.

My picks if I were to try convert my friend into a full-blown boxing fan:

    1. Back and forth affair that ends in a close decision= Gatti/Ward I easily

    2. Back and forth affair that ends in a dramatic KO/TKO=Trinidad/Vargas

    3. Back and forth affair that ends with a dramatic comeback (either KO/TKO) where the fighter losing by a good margin comes from behind=Leonard/Hearns I

    What would be yours?

I'm going to pop these fights the next time my friend comes around.

I completely forgot about JLC/Corrales and the trilogies between Marrquez/Vazquez and Barrera/Morales.

Donaire vs Montiel - 2 Great fighters with an awesome KO ending.

Cotto vs Margarito - Another classic Mex vs PR fight with a controversial ending in the long run.
