Lacy should fight calzaghe and then Kessler after Pemberton....**** Beyer.

Lacy has got to look at his buddy Jermain Taylor with envy...after all Taylor has already scored 1 big payday and is about to do the same again soon.

Lacy has made little money so far...the only fights that intrigue me are Calzaghe and Tarver, if LAcy wants to get paid like his freind Jermain his focus will be on these two fights!

Agreed, Beyer is your typical German fighter, he wins all his fights on points in Germany. He even got Green DQ's for beating on him.

I responded to the poll wrong.

The question in the thread title was:

          "Beyer or Lacy????"

I figured as always you were asking who would win.

Beyer is a slow starter, so is Lacy in most cases. But Jeff Lacy I think is too quick, powerful and motivated to lose this fight. I cannot see Markus Beyer beating Lacy, I believe he would get stopped within 4 rounds.

But in the second fight he had learned from his mistakes and could control Green with his very good bodypunches.

I don't think the Beyer fight will be as easy for Lacy as some people make it out to be if Beyer comes up with a good gameplan. I do agree that Lacy would be the favorite to win but not by a big margin.

Beyer is decent but nothing special, Lacys ruthless and if you dont get it right first time against him your going to get beat badly. I'd give him a chance of beating lacy because lacy is still raw but they would have to fight outside of Germany for it to be considered fair by most people.

Whats your view on "The Germans cheat" opinion most people have??

Like other places it is difficult to win a close decision in Germany and it seldom happens. But close fights will often be debated. The more clearly wrong decisions also happens and since it has been with notable fighter that people follow Germany have got a reputation for being a place where you cannot win. If it is really that much worse than other places i don't know but you need to clearly win to win in Germany.

I have notcied you need to win big in Germany to win but with some of the bigger stars of German boxing(i.e. Ottke) you need to KO him and even then you have the ref trying to stop ypou throwing hurtful shots.

In my honest opinion Germany is the worst place for a fighter to travel too, not only do you get bad decision and bad refs, you also get crowds who dont care about the real winner. I remember the Ottke vs Reid crowd cheering for Ottke after he won in the most biased fight i've ever seen. you get bad decision in other place in the world but at least fans cheer the right person.
