Its OK to showboat, just not take it to the extreme like some fighters do. IMO Witter doesnt take it to the extreme but i hate him showboating because of the people he's doing it against, its like showboating against a punchbag.
Witter should fight someone with some ability, or at least someone with half a brain, then if he showboats its OK. I remember it being OK against Judah because he has talent(just not much brain).
I dont understand all this race talk, people in general hate showboating, its obvious more black fighters showboat so its only natutal more black fighters get abuse for it. Its not becuase they are black its because they are disrespecting their opponents more. Naz was probably the most hated showboater of all time and he wasnt black, and when Ali showboated all people, of all races loved him for it.

Racism does play a part in it. A lot of non-black people simply don't like blacks. There's a certain type of black they're tolerate. But any black person who actually embraces any hip-hop culture type things, a lot of white people will absolutely hate and then look for anything to criticize. Think I'm lying?
Why the hell is it that Ricardo Mayorga can do all sorts of funny **** in the ring and everyone laugh their asses off? Same with press conferences. Just look at the HBO crew. They love Mayorga and talk him up like he's something wonderful. But then Floyd Mayweather tries it. Roy Jones tries it. What kind of bs is spewing out of Larry Merchant's mouth? "Look at that dumb ****y nig-" No, he doesn't say that literally, but it is what it amounts to, and lots of people share that view.
Why do a lot of people not like Zab Judah? Because he openly likes rap music, has the platinum teeth, the ***elry, looks like he belongs on the Source magazine. Its not just because he acts ****y. Oscar De La Hoya acts really ****y. Goes around saying he'll dictate fights to people and everything.
No, every white person isn't racist, just maybe most of them (from my view it seems that way sometimes). A lot of white people that don't really follow boxing have said ****** crap like "Now, I like those Klitschkos" and then turn around and say they don't like American fighters that are black. How can someone really honestly like the Klitschkos and then not like even one of the following: Roy Jones, Hopkins, Mayweather, Mosley. Something else is up.
But Corso...you only like Paulie because he's from New York.
You should also realize, that's the main reason he's such a hype job.
Nah that's not the reason. I love watching him fight. He's a slick fighter, I like his style. Go find the post asking about favorite styles. You'll see I love outboxers and slick crafty fighters who rely on technique. And yes, I like that he acts ****y as hell.
Dmitry Salita is also from New York, I don't like him. I was on the fence with Viv Harris. Can't stand Joe Mesi, or Vinnie Maddalone. Not a Kendell Holt fan. I hated Paulie M until I saw him fight. I just read his interviews and he was talking junk about Bojado (before Bojado had lost). After I saw Paulie fight, it was obvious his style was better than Bojado's.
Too bad Paulie M's hands aren't going to hold up that well it looks like.
