And its funny how Mayweather decides to promote his fighter against the guy people expect him to fight, against the guy who has been calling him out, against the guy he told GB he'd be interested in fighting, against the guy that just annihilated Zab Judah.

Did May mention any ESTABLISHED WWs for Vargas? No, of course not.

Only the most blinkered, dumb ***** would not see that this is Floyd setting up to duck Khan with his asinine comments.
Try to get out of the house more. Nobody "expects" Floyd to fight Khan.

Says the basement dwelling loser with almost 5,000 posts. Its not healthy to live like a reclusive loser.

Try reading a little, Floyd himself said, he was open to fight Khan, and GB said they expected it. And numerous articles have been written speculating this fight, far from nobody expects him to fight Khan.

And why is the word "expects" in quotation marks? Are you ******ed? Do you know what quotation marks are used for?

Please keep embarrassing yourself, it's amusing.

Yo man your still at it?
Maybe you dont believe me but imo floyds not even thinking about khan hes got his mind on ortiz and the fight after that which we all wanna see.
A fighter like khan doesnt mean much to floyd unless he gets a win or two at WW.

Khan is ducking this Vargas whose name suddenly appeared out of thin air? I think Floyd is really good at mind games, he wants to frustrate Khan.

Yea, you might be correct. I do expect Khan to take a fight or two at WW, before he tries to fight May.

We'll see what happens. Lots of different factors in play, impossible to say. Maybe, Floyd is just talking trash as some of suggested.

Is floydjr getting ready to go on vacation again after fighting ortis?

That would give him time yet again to be on peds and test freely when he decide to come back to fight then accuse somebody else with it

                    tikay,

The problem with hardcore boxing fans is that we think that people see the world as we do. I'm guilty of that sometimes, and then I have to pull myself out of it.

Realistically? Nobody knows who Amir Khan is. That isn't an insult to Khan. He is a young fighter and I'm sure that he will grow his base.

Amir Khan can walk into just about any ESPNZone in America and enjoy a quiet meal.

Amir Khan just fought Zab Judah and, all BS'ing aside, did OK for himself. But to put it in perspective, he had 1/3rd of the ticket sales that Floyd had when Floyd fought Judah six years ago. Floyd's last fight exceeded Khan's recent gate revenue by 1500%. Repeat, 1500%.

So, Floyd may fight AK down the road. I'd be interested in seeing how AK handles a 36+ year old Mayweather. But for now, realize what it is: Schaefer and Khan using the Mayweather name to (smartly) build Khan's recognition.

Do you remember a couple of years ago when Schaefer started talking about Mayweather-Alvarez?

                      Questions:

Would Khan be in the news now if he wasn't calling out Mayweather?

Would Vargas be in the news now if Mayweather didn't say Khan was ducking him?

Some of you cats can be so hyper-emotional and simultaneously daft about business.

They're both promoting. Calm the eff down.
