He's 100% right and thats why idiots in this place don't understand the struggles in life or what he's gone through.

To bounce back from the cards Ortiz was dealt, deal with the pressure of the pro fight game and now be on the biggest stage of his life, he already won.

That's why he says that boxing is important to him but it doesn't define him. That is the proper perspective of a person who has been though some **** in his life.

It'll be a rougher night for Ortiz if he keeps thinking that he's at least getting paid. It's easy to ease up when you're getting paid millions upon millions just for showing up to fight regardless of the performance.

I think overall what he means is Ortiz came from horrible upbringings to fighting P4P one of the best fighters in the world. He's not saying Ortiz is going in there with intentions of just getting a check more than just saluting the kid for being where he's at. More than anything, he's saying Ortiz has nothing to lose.

i honestly doubt thats what hes thinking. but what ****m said is the truth. it all depends on how hungry ortiz is. does he want more? or is he content on settling.

            Good God,

Richardson didn't say that Ortiz is just there to get a paycheck, just that the kid has succeeded in life already, win or lose....

Coming from where he has to signing to fight one of the best boxers in the world, it's a win.

It doesn't mean Ortiz isn't going to come and try and win....lol

If he got KO'd in the 1rst that would be quite embarrassing. And of course he already won, he is getting paid millions(atleast I think he is unless he is getting screwed on his contract).

                You're right.

It is amazing what Ortiz did, and how he stuck with his brother.

                His story warms my heart.
