hmmm i smell a jealous guy, b-hop has had boring fights in the past but in recent his 2 fights against pascal and pavlik were not boring so go whine somewhere else like a good little boy, and p.s. i hope hopkins does beat dawson down hard so then dawsons little fan boys can finally stfu, i dont see any other 46 year old boxers being champions or competing at this level so show some respect...war hopkins since 2008..

none of the pascal fights were boring , neither was with pavlik, tarver, trinidad, both with echols ..i appreciate boxing skills so bhop is never boring to me , u wanna see dudes fight like some street bums go to a bar hater..this is a sport

if hopkins ducked dawson, it was most certainly a financial decision..

why the **** fight a guy with no fan base, no drawing power, and no real accomplishments to date that make the fight attractive.

the only reason dawson has the kind of following he does have is because the boxing establishment have been trying their hearts out to find and create the next star....

all they did was fluff up dawson with no real stiff competition, his toughest fight was against G.Johnson, which i thought he clearly lost in their first fight.... and his fights with tarver weren't anything to really hang your hat on.

the establishment was trying so hard to make another star, dawson was a candidate, only thing is, they couldn't promote a no thrills kind of fighter that dawson is.... he has skills, he is a professional, but he's not elite, he's not the NEXT great, and he's not even close to living up to the hype that has propped him up.

plus those were both hopkins sloppy seconds. and i say that with much respect to tarver and johnson, i'm just illustrating a point.

if I was hopkins, I wouldn't have entertained a fight with dawson, there is no money, no accolades in winning, and no benefit....

right now it's a fight that people want to see because certain folks have been really hyping and pushing dawson as the next big deal.... which he hasn't shown even a splinter into being the next big deal......


hopkins isnt' afraid of dawson or even losing to him, hopkins wasn't going to waste his time for peanuts in fighting dawson.


now with the way it's unfolding, dawson should be thanking hopkins for not taking a fight earlier in his career, one for not ruining his career by losing to hopkins and two for holding out til they were able to get more money for their efforts.........

unless dawson comes out like a machine gun and overwhelms hopkins for 12 rounds with his punch out put......... HE AINT GONNA WIN.........
