It's a known fact the Klitschko's get penalized for there size & they GET ALL the blame for there opponent's ineptitude.. as if THEY have no SAY whatsoever in how there foes perform.. if we ALL kept it real.. we'd all see that The Klitschko's are the ones making contenders into journeymen..... journeymen into tomatoe cans.. these fighters are all pretty respectable when fighting amongst themselves but as soon A Klitschko is in the ring with them. they immedaitely become clueless & forget how to fight.. It's a conspiracy & sham/scam that the brother's get all the blame... they're being blamed for there dominance.


The OP does have a point.. all we hear about are the Hopkins..Mayweather's & Pacquaio's when it's the Klitschko's who are doing ALL the serious asckicking.. getting all the knockouts & wiping the floor with whomever is put in front of the. Instead of glorifying them we put the PAQUAIO'S out on a pedestal.. the Hopkins when the sweetest of sciences is being performed by a Klitchko.. get MAYWEATHER & pacquaio together as a tag team vs Vitali & they'd outweigh him.. & Vitali would still kick there A$$... SO YES the pound for pounds is bogus. excuse the KLitschko's for having the lbs in there favor.. do centers get penalized because they are more dominant than guards in basketball? I'm sorry as great as PAQUAIO has been moving up in weight classes..

p4p is about which fighters are the most skilled regardless of size. The Klits are not nearly as skilled as guys like Sergio Martinez or Floyd Mayweather. They are very skilled in general and they are the best heavyweights, but they are not the most skilled fighters in the sport. If you can't see that then you must really not know much about boxing.

but, there is more to boxing than the HW division. Most people aren't big enough to be HW's. The average American male is like 5'9 170lbs.

I like the MW and SMW divisions, the guys are big enough not to be midgets but still small enough to have amazing speed and skill.

Ali's idol was a much smaller man, Ray Robinson.

When I was younger I loved to see Laurel and Hardy films, they were my all time favourites. There was nothing I don't know about them. And I still feel the same way today.

I don't say that they are the most skilled fighters in the sport, but they are well up there. We don't see a quarter of what they are capable of. If they had an opponent who could push them, you'd soon see what skills would emerge. I'm quite sure of this because I've watched them for many years and they had, and showed, everything. There was nothing they couldn't do. Well they have changed their styles to ensure longevity, having decided to make boxing their long term occupation, and build up a boxing empire presumably to fund whatever else they intend to do with their lives.

Do you know who the fastest 120 lbs swimmer is? but in boxing, who you have to trade punches with matters..

No. But your average point guard in basketball is way too physically small & weak to guard a center, but you would never say a guy like George Muresan is a greater basketball player than Allen Iverson just because Iverson is too small to guard Muresan, would you?
