If Pascal had thrown more punches in the rematch, he would have been caught more. No fighter has ever been able to punch and block at the same time. Hopkins was too savy for Pascal, bottom line. Hopkins learned from the first fight, unlike Pascal. That is what separates the good from the greats.

Dawson better be training and not listening to anything Hopkins says. This is Dawsons fight to lose not Hopkins fight to win. Come on Dawson and Steward don't fail now. Dawson has all the tools to win this fight except I question him mentally.

Emanuel Steward always tries to train taller fighters like they are Thomas Hearns!!! Dawson is nowhere near what Hearns was and as soon as him & Steward losses a fight Emanuel will dump him just like he did Jermaine Taylor. Emanuel Steward only want to build a record of winners on his resume. Why do you think he stays so close to the Klitschko brothers. They are too big for anyone to really beat them & Steward knows this. I give him & Dawson two more fights & he’ll be gone. Steward is the Bob Arum of trainers in the boxing world.

MrClutch, you are forgetting something. Pascal gasses out and cannot be constantly throwing punches for 12 rounds. And even if he could, Hopkins would have clocked him more because throwing more leaves you more open to a concise, precision fighter. Hopkins figured him out in the first fight and beat him clearly in the second fight. There are no coulda, woulda, shoulda's.

Chad is mentally stronger than what Hopkins thinks. Chad complaining about the headbut he got from Pascal in their fight, just in route to knocking Pascal out if that round continued doesn't make him weak. Chad will get hype by Hopkins nasty tactics and put a beating on him, because Chad is hungry for this fight.
