from a pro-defense attorney stance all I can say is: "THROW those *******s in jail for PHOOCKING LIFE". . . i don't believe in the death penalty, but the circumstances of this murder would render death penalty.

these scumbags dont deserve a quick death. They should be punished for the rest of their lives knowing that they will never be free again.

What I cannot understand is that the Prosecutors are asking for life without parole for the guy Ware, who presumably was the one who confronted Forrest, and whom Forrest chased, but why is there no mention of Sinkfield, the one who actually walked up to Forrest, and committed the most cowardly, brutal murder.

HE'S the one who should NEVER be let see the light of day again.

In Israel, a few weeks ago, a 19 and 18 year old Arab broke into a house and murdered a father, mother, and 3 kids aged 11, 4 and 3 months. They cut the baby's throat. When arrested, they said they "did it for Allah".

Now they each will get 5 life sentences plus (probably) 20 years. And, under normal circumstances they would stay there until they died in gaol. But the liklihood is that in a few years, a young kid will be kidnapped by local Arabs from Judea or Samaria, and the PA will demand an exchange of 1-2,000 prisoners including these two vicious murderers, to be free to go and murder again.

So, although I, like another poster, am against Capital Punishment, the only solution really, is to execute cold blooded murderers, like this Sinkfield guy.

I am possibly off the mark here.....

But in the USA, they have some type of "law of association", I cant remember what its called, whereby you are "guilty by association".

Under such a law, all parties associated with the crime get the same sentence, not just the trigger-man?

Just a guess, not sure otherwise.

I know that law applies to armed robberies. If somebody dies, even by accident, all parties are charged with murder simply because a firearm was used during the course of a crime.

          Maybe?

Well there is one thing for certain when it comes to scumbags from the ****** that might explain why theres no mention of the other guys getting life in prison.

At least one of them rolled over on this guy and made a deal to save their own ass.

I think you're right, that ALL present and involved in a crime are adjudges as being guilty. But with the slimy kind of lawyers we have, whose only aim is to subvert real justice (never mind that they say that all are entitled to be regarded as innocent) you'll find that the ones who were lesser involved, probably like the third criminal, will be plea bargained for a lesser sentence.

And yet, There is something very cruel about the American Justice System. I know of people still in jail after 40 or more years, virtually their whole lives, for little more than common thievery. I have read books on the subject, and, law abiding as I am, and believing in just retribution, I have been horrified at the stories I have come across.

I suppose that because of the hodge-podge of "different State-different penalty" mish-mash we can find that a misdemeanor in one State is a very serious heaviy penalised crime in another. Are there not people still sitting in gaol in California ( think) for the past 20 years or so, because of that "3 strikes-you're out" Law and who will be there until they die, even though their crimes may have been really trifling??

Ish't it in a poem by Robert Burns which I read as a schoolchild, where it's written about "man's inhumanity to man"....??

I find it funny you guys are calling them POS. Remember Forrest left his kid by himself and chased them like an idiot. If anyone is to blame for his death it's himself.

Yeah, but thats not really punishment. Jail is not like what you see in TV's where guys are constantly raping each other. It's not like that at all. It's actually a second chance at life getting free food, free workout equipments, they even get to play sports like basketball and such. And guess who pays for these murderers second chance at life?

I personally consider murder a serious crime, and I don't think anyone deserves a second chance at life unless it was self-defense which in this case it clearly wasn't. They even robbed Forrest after killing him like the scumbags they are.
