LOL, at him or his team bragging about winning the 1rst round even if they felt they won the 1rst round. Who wins a fight just by scoring 1 round? Solis was legitimately KO'd if he weren't so heavy-set than the chances of him messing up his knees/legs would have been alot slimmer.

yup same here...he maybe should do one more fight in the beginning of 2012 to get in form/ring-shape again and after that he hopefully get a rematch...i think he could give Vitali some problems...this would be a good fight...definatly better that a Haye - Klitschko fight...

if he can't get down as low as 230 lbs, he better not come back at all, cause he will suffer injuries again

Well, the reports that he had an acl tear could not be right then. I find it hard to believe he could return from such an injury in 7 months. It has been done, but it is less than 5 months since he injured the knee. There is no way he could know right now that his knee wiill be good to go in October, if he had a torn ACL.

this just proves solis took a dive in the vitali fight. because no way in hell do you heal an injury like this in 6 months. i've even read it could be a career ending injury. and now he's back reborn. jesus exists after all!

and guys like oner and don king are the plague of boxing nowadays.

yes, but the quality is intact. It is much easier to lose weight a great fighter to win a fight, to teach you how to box a boxer rather large physical

I've done some informal research on the Internet about recovery times from a torn ACL. From the stories I've read, recovery can take anywhere from five months to one year. A particular medical web-site says that it takes "nine months or more." One person claimed he was running 2-3 miles after five months; another stated he wasn't 100% until a full year elapsed. Obviously, recovery times vary, depending on the individual.

Solis is slated to fight on October 14, almost seven months to the day he fought Vitali (March 19). If Solis's injury was real, it's conceivable that Odlanier has recovered sufficiently to take on a weak opponent. It's also possible that he's not 100% yet, but is expected to be by then. Who knows? We're talking about big money and people's livelihoods. It wouldn't be the first time an athlete was rushed back from an injury.
