Looks like the punch that hurt him the most is a throat punch by that photo.

Khan is twice the boxer since that loss.

A rematch would be a wasted fight in my opinion. Doubt he would get much credit especially if prescott loses to the irishman in his next fight.

everything happens for a reason, if khan beat prescott he would have lost down the road somewere and it might have been harder to build him back from that point. as he lost when he was really young that allowed him to pack up change his lifestyle and camp and made him the beast that he is today.

If that punch just misses Khan, Khan lands his own, gets tagged but the bell saves him.

Goes back to his corner then boxes his way to a lop sided victory.

Khan still has his 0 but how does this change his future?

Does he leave Warren does he go to America team up with Roach at the Wild Card and does he sign to GBP?

            Would he world champion?

We can learn great things from a lost, much more than we can learn from victory.

How would Khan's career gone if he if beat Prescott that night and can losses improve a fighter far more than any win?
            Some good questions.

The thing is, Roach, is too busy to even take any more fighters. Khan caught him at just the right time.

Khan was a dumb teen who didn't know how to train. He needed Roach and Ariza, just as any fighter needs a good set of mentors to teach them.

I also think the loss came at a time in Khan career, where it was really early, and he was very underdeveloped that it doesn't really tarnish his career.

If that punch had just missed Khan and he had survived Rd1 he would have got caught in Rd2, his defence was horrible back then!

Those massive looping bombs would have landed at some point and his chin was pathetic! I mean Khan got rocked by a jab in the fight! A JAB! There is no way he would have gotten out of that fight with a W at that stage of his career.

It wasn't Khan's defence as such, it was his attitude, he was trying to slug it out with Prescott. If he got back to his corner, they hopefully would have a word with him.

But thats besides the point, if it help imagine if Khan heabutted Prescott and won the fight that way.
