If Amir Khan beat Brendis Prescott?

Where would Khan's career be now?

If that punch just misses Khan, Khan lands his own, gets tagged but the bell saves him.

Goes back to his corner then boxes his way to a lop sided victory.

Khan still has his 0 but how does this change his future?

Does he leave Warren does he go to America team up with Roach at the Wild Card and does he sign to GBP?

    Would he world champion?

We can learn great things from a lost, much more than we can learn from victory.

How would Khan's career gone if he if beat Prescott that night and can losses improve a fighter far more than any win?

Sorry I'm not good at fairy tales. Fact is Prescott is Amir's dad until Amir proves otherwise by beating him. Same with Ortiz and Maidana.

I think his career profited from getting KO'ed. If he had won that fight he probably would have stayed with that current trainer and not met Freddie Roach. He might have also stayed with Frank Warren too.

He has shown mental toughness to go from having everything to having nothing and then coming back even stronger. Look at what he's acheived since that loss, i don't believe he would be the same fighter if he hadn't lost that fight.

I'm much more impressed with a fighter showing how he can come back from a loss than a fighter who is afraid to fight the best and wants to stay undefeated. Shows the mark of a true champion.

The point of the thread is to discuss how a loss can make you a better fighter unless people think Khan's career would be in a better place if he beat Prescott?

I don't think the rematch is necessary unless Prescott earns the fight the right way. Prescotts career went down the drain after beating Khan. Khan would get little to no credit avenging his loss because as of right now no one truly takes Prescott seriously since he has been losing his big fights lately.

            It's Breidis, not Brendis.

Nah the loss helped him IMO. We probably wouldn't have even seen the Maidana fight had it not been for everyone questioning Amir's chin even more then ever after the loss. Good fight, I actually watched it again yesterday as a matter of fact.

Best thing that ever happened to him.

Took away the feeling of him feeling he was invincible.
