Did Martinez team have to send an offer to Manny? Do you think Ortiz would've turned down the fight? Did you hear Arum tryna outdo Floyd once he found out Floyd was fighting Ortiz by saying Manny would fight Mike Jones next? Why would Manny fight the virtually unknown Jones instead of the new champion coming off a career victory?

LOL!!!!!!! and how can u say that ortiz have improved a lot and will beat anyone from 140-147 except for floyd.. well then i guess ortiz havent improved much and your just hyping him up to make floyd look good LOL!!

GTFOH with the BS dude. The only one who hides behind their team is Manny. Ortiz challenged Manny he didnt need his team to do it. Im not taking you back to school dude you know as well as everyone else that Manny's last 7 opponents were coming off career losses and the only reason he's fighting Marquez is because he thinks he has the advantage. Fighters from 140-154 have been calling him out but his agenda is already set. He targets the recent losers, mentally wounded and disadvantaged. Only an idiot would be impressed cause a true boxing fan wouldnt be.

And serriously we are talking 6 months ago.

Why don't you post your views on Berto as well.
When I first saw the Victor Ortiz Vs Marcos Maidana fight I thought. Here is a kid that could have won that fight but didn't fight smart but instead opted to exchange power shots with a guy (Maidana) that can shake a mule because Ortiz let everything get to his head. Prior to quitting. Ortiz was beating Maidana pretty good. I basically think he got careless and couldn't handle it when the pressure was on. Clearly, against Berto, he had more confidence and showed that he could bring it and hang through adversity. To me, that is a sign of a fighter who learned a lil from his past mistakes because when Berto dropped that hammer on him and Ortiz backed into the ropes.

It looked like it was a wrap for him but he came back and dropped berto. I would say the Maidana fight is behind him. Now on to Andre Berto. Sure Berto wasn't considered all that great at WW but he did hold the WBC hostage for a while and he was regarded in the top ranks at WW (Manny didn't even want to fight him). It didn't take me giving Ortiz props because he is now fighting Mayweather because before that fight even happened immediately after Berto. I gave him his props and just due. Say what you will about Berto and I have said it too but lets keep it all the way 100 and admit that Berto was a better fight and win to have on the resume then Manny's last couple of fights at WW. A young undefeated champion is always a good look as a win.

I mean when is going up in weight and beating an undefeated champ a bad thing? Iguess if your next fight is vs. floyd mayweather jr.

You can call me a foreigner(Im not), but at least I'm not mentally handicapped like you, at least I can READ.

And I'm not the idiot who thinks Floyd doesn't want to fight Khan because he ain't "ready." Why is FLoyd fighting Ortiz? You keep avoiding the same thing, because your idiot logic doesn't hold up.

Floyd doesn't care who is ready. He cares about winning. And doesn't want to fight Khan, because HE IS READY.
