thrashed? have you even seen that fight or are you just a parrot? it's very possible there's just one guy on here with a bunch of accounts making things up. how was that a thrashing? and those 2 fights together made floyd rethink his whole entire career and he decided to never fight another elite fighter unless he had some massive advantage like against marquez. from here on out its only guys who score upset wins. then he can take credit for beating the elite fighter and the guy who upset him without actually having to fight the better fighter. genius!

pac hasn't killed anyone's career..hatton? look at hattons photos a few months after the floyd fight..he was a fat pub drinking coke using loser...cotto got smashed by marg.marg got smashed by mosley..mosley was old and floyds leftover...clottey didnt really want to fight I guess he was paid off by arum..pac couldnt hurt a man who wasnt punching back

pac loves to fight fighters after they come from losses..because some losses damage fighters and they're never the same..that's when the pinoy fraud comes and eats the damaged goods and leftovers.

tell that to Mayweather so he can grow a pair and fight Pacquiao without OST.

or he's scared to fight a bum like pacquiao?

cotto won a world title after margarito beat him then again after he lost to pac so your theory is totally made up but yes pac does cherry pick almost as badly as mayweather but beating cotto is still a lot better than baldomir, mosley, or ortiz. all guys who came out of nowhere to score 1 big win. cotto was an established welterweight who fought everyone and happened to lose one fight. i'd much rather have that then a flash in the pan on my resume.

Hopkins has got that rep of killing careers and rightfully so. I wouldn't put Mayweather & Pacquaio in that same category. Many of the examples used for FloydnManny was more a case of their opponents career already being killed!

yes but he also beat top welterweight joshua clottey who was also a titlist but was stripped right before the fight. cotto would have been unified champ going into the pac fight if not for the corrupt belt organizations. if a shot cotto can still win multiple belts and beat top fighters then you must think a prime cotto is one of the greatest of all time. i bet you sure are glad floyd stayed away from him. that was a close call.

And what you can say about Pacquiao? He fought Hatton, De La Hoya and Mosley after Floyd... and he gave the rematch to Marquez 4 years after the first fight and the rubber match other 3 years later, because Roach hopes JMM was not in his prime, otherwise Pacman-Marquez II and III would be organized much earlier.
After the first Marquez fight Pacman usually fights guys who come from losses: in all the 3 match against Morales; Larios was coming from loss and that was his first fight at super featherweight (double jump in weight), Barrera was coming from lost in their second meeting; De la Hoya was beat by Mayweather an was coming from a very bad performance against Forbes; Hatton was already beat by Mayweather; Cotto was beating badly by Margacheato and in his last fight he won a close decision Clottey after a very hard fight; Clottey was coming from a lost; Margarito was coming from a bad performance and in the fight before he was brutalized by Mosley; Mosley was coming from a loss and a draw...

At least Floyd facing boxers who come from a victory, and usually from a great performance
