From the outside looking in it seems like Carl Froch doesn't get the same type of notoriety and support as fellow UK fighters Amir Khan and David Haye. Is this true? Does Froch fight on Sky, does this have something to do with it? I ask because Froch has arguably done more than both Khan and Haye, although Haye was the undisputed CW champion.
I have a question for UK fans

Froch has just moved to sky,
Khan is a superstar boxer over here I guess.
People have followed him since the olympics.
Lots of the early fights were on free television. Which helped build a fan base -
this is practically the whole reason. Khan was mainstream before his first professional fight
and can I assume SirTomJones you saw Iron Maiden over the weekend?Comment

Because Froch has just signed with Sky Sports, this year If I remember correctly.
Alot of his career he had next to no promotion, at all.
Khan is so much bigger because like Sir Tom Jones said, he has a been a superstar here since he was 17 years and and has had HUGE promotion as early as 17.
David Haye, wasn't really big here until he moved to HW. THEN Sky put huge promotion into him to build the inevitable Klitschko fight.Comment
