One well-placed shot, in an otherwise losing effort, against Shimoda? Ramos has 11 KOs in twenty fights. That's not exactly a fearsome KO percentage. Rigo's glove has touched the canvass (literally) in one pro fight. "El Chacal" will school Ramos. Rico isn't ready for prime-time, his lucky shot against the Japanese champion not withstanding.
the corboba fight...there's not much to measure what rigo can do so id used his best win ...he got dropped by a jab and it was not a flash kd like let's say clottey vs cotto either...he became very defensiv after that....ramos , is a decent tecnical fighter and i think he catches rigo at soem point to a stoppage.....im sorry but rigo is a ko waiting to happen imo...

Judging Guillermo by one punch in one fight is being pretty harsh, in my opinion. I agree that Rigo wasn't hit by a great shot. However, he only touched the canvass with his glove. The ref then started the count. After that, Rigondeaux regressed to amateur mode and won the fight in the most boring possible fashion.

"El Chacal" clearly got the memo about what it means to be a pro. In his next outing against Casey, Rigo destroyed Willie on his home turf in one round. I think Ramos is going to see that version of Rigondeaux....

I'm not very familiar with Ramos's career. I only watched the Shimoda fight. Going by that one fight, I'm not impressed at all with Rico's chances against "El Chacal." I have to say that Ramos's KO shot was impressive. It demonstrates some power....but it was also picture perfect. Can Rico duplicate that? His previous record indicates that he hasn't had consistent luck doing so.

Rigo is a master boxer. I've seen that demonstrated over and over. Once again, judging by the Shimoda fight, Rico isn't in Guillermo's league. I think it's a long-shot that Ramos can land the same KO shot against Rigondeaux.

We can make a friendly wager when the time comes.

I'll let Rigo know this guy Rico is still talking trash about him, last time Rico said Rigo wasn't all that because they did a sparring session and he wasn't impressed? Come on... a sparring session?

Ramos won't live to see the 8th round.
